Linda is an education executive and international education expert turned career coach, entrepreneur, and consultant. Having underappreciated the value of networking in the early part of her career, she wants to make sure young people are equipped with the skills and tools to build social capital regardless of where they come from. Her passion is to do work that creates opportunity for others.
Linda started her career as a management consultant, including at Deloitte consulting, where she advised some of the world’s largest companies across the pharmaceutical, banking, professional services and insurance industries.
Prior to ICareerCafe, Linda held various leadership positions at iconic education organizations like College Board and CIEE. At College Board, Linda was VP of International where she led the organization’s work to connect international students with higher education opportunities globally. At both College Board and CIEE, she initiated access & equity efforts to support refugees and international students from low-income backgrounds. Through this experience, she also witnessed the power of professional networks and the challenges facing students who don't have them.
Linda is a soon to be Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC). She also holds an MBA from the Wharton school of Management at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from the University of Chicago.
